The Girl's Tennis squad secured a major 13-5 win in league play on Friday afternoon on the road at Webb Schools. Bettering their record to 8-2 overall, the Tritons put themselves in a solid position to finish league in the top three.

The Lady Tritons opened the match with a winning round of singles play, asall three individual players won all their sets over their opponents. Sophomore Kiana Giunta had a perfect day out on the court, going 6-0 in all three rounds. The three doubles groups secured the overall match win and each only dropped a single set. The last time these two teams met, the Tritons came out on top with a 17-1 win at the end of last season. Though the Orange and Navy have beaten Webb at every matchup, the squad certainly stacks up as a top-three competitor in the San Joaquin League.

The Lady Tritons will be on the road at CVCS on Tuesday afternoon at 1 pm on October 5th.
