The Pacifica Christian girls golf team is set to tee off at the league preliminaries tomorrow, October 22nd, at Long Beach Recreational Park. With a strong lineup and unwavering determination, the Tritons are looking to make a significant impact in this crucial stage of the season.

The Tritons are sending four individuals to compete: Seniors Kaitlyn Dion, Madi Drotter, Izzy Samson, and freshman Sarah Moniak. These four girls have consistently led the team this season, with the lowest scoring averages, earning them a spot in the league tournament. After day one, a cut will be made, and those who make it will play the following day at Skylinks Golf Course in Long Beach.

Coach Tanner Motske, who has been instrumental in guiding the team through their preparations, emphasizes the importance of focus and the positive mentality that these girls need to implement into their game. "It's about mindset and how we support each other on the course. If we can stay positive and play to our strengths, I have full confidence that these girls will perform well." 

Other teams in the tournament include TVT, Samueli Academy, Vista Meridian, Webb, and Fairmont Prep.
