Girls Golf returns to the course this week as they kick off their 2024-2025 season with three matches. Entering their sixth year, the team is ready for another exciting season. Head Coach Tanner Motske, a class of 2018 Pacifica Christian alumni returns for his second year at the helm after leading the Orange and Navy, and alongside him is newly added assistant coach Isabel Ward. 

The Tritons graduated only one senior last year and returned four familiar faces. They will carry eight players on the 2024-2025 season roster. Players to watch include Senior Madi Drotter and Freshman Sarah Moniak. Madi enters her senior year ready to lead this team on and off the course. She has been a consistent and staple part of this program for the last three years. Sarah is a young and talented athlete who is ready to hit the course for her freshman year. She is a consistent and solid player for the Tritons and will be someone to keep an eye out for years to come. Other seniors on the squad are Izzy Samson, Kaitlyn Dion, and Grace Garacochea. Avalon Davis is the one junior on the team, and Kenna Crain is the solo sophomore. The Orange and Navy have one new freshman, Brianna Silver. 

All home matches will be played at Newport Beach Golf Course. The Orange and Navy will compete in the San Joaquin League this year against Anaheim Discovery Christian, Avalon, Fairmont Prep, Samueli Academy, TVT, Webb, and Vista Meridian. Senior Day will be on October 17th vs Anaheim Discovery Christian. League Individual Prelims will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd and Wednesday, October 23rd.  CIF Divisional Rankings will be released at the end of the season based on the 2024-2025 performance per the new system.
