Senior Sam Davidson led the Girl's Golf team to victory Monday afternoon, as the Tritons beat the Samueli Academy Firewolves 284-296. The Orange and Navy were on the road this afternoon, as they traveled up to Santa Ana to play at Riverview Golf Course. This would be their first league meeting with the Firewolves this season.

Leading the squad was Senior Sam Davidson who posted a 41 on the day, shooting the low score of the match. Playing alongside her as the number two was Junior Izzy Samson who put up a 59. Junior Madi Drotter had a solid round as she posted a 49 while freshman Kenna Crain was not far behind, shooting a 66. In the final group were sophomores Avalon Davis and Hannah Schweiger who posted a 69 and 75 respectively. 

When asked about today's big victory, Associate Head Coach Tanner Motske stated, "I am really proud of the way the girls played out there today. That was not an easy golf course by any means, but they were certainly up to the challenge and got a well-deserved win."

The Orange and Navy are back in action Thursday as they travel to Fullerton Golf Course to take on Fairmont Prep in another league matchup. Tee time is 3:00 pm.
