Girl’s Golf Secures Two Big Wins

The Pacifica Christian Girl's Golf Team picked up two big wins this week as they hosted the Estancia Eagles and the Lions of TVT at Newport Beach Golf Course. The Tritons played against the Eagles on Tuesday, beating them 224-226, edging out the win by two strokes. Then on Wednesday, the squad faced off against the Lions, beating them 214-228. The team is now 5-3 on the season. 

The Orange and Navy were led on both days by Junior Sam Davidson. Davidson, a solid performer for the Tritons this year shot 39 and 38 earning herself medalist honors in both matches. On Tuesday Senior Nat Ferdi posted a 39 and Sophomore Kaitlyn Dion shot 45. Senior Savannah Morwood posted a 50 and Sophomore Isabella Samson shot 53. On Wednesday, the Tritons came out on top again. Nat Ferdi and Kaitlyn Dion both shot 40. Meanwhile, Savannah Morwood posted a 45 and Isabella Samson posted a 54. 

"Great week for Pacifica Girls Golf," remarks Head Coach Jeff Anderson "We had some great playing from all the girls and they were definitely motivated to win, I am very proud of them!"

The Triton's next match is on Tuesday, September 27 at 2:30 pm as they host the Huskies of Fairmont Prep.
