Girl’s Golf Win Six Straight Matches, Longest Win Streak In School History!
The Pacifica Christian Girl's Golf Team has had a record-breaking season. The Tritons have now won six straight matches in a row and are 9-3 on the season which is the best record the program has ever had in school history!
The squad is made up of six girls: Nat Ferdi, Savannah Morwood, Sam Davidson, Kaitlyn Dion, Madi Drotter, and Isabella Samson. Every player this season has shot a personal low score and the team has been unstoppable all year. The girls shot their lowest team score against St. Anthony's back in August, scoring a season-best 181.
The streak started on September 13 when the Orange and Navy faced off against Estancia High School, beating them 224-226. It continued as the squad proceeded to win the next five matches beating: TVT, Samueli Academy twice as well as Fairmont Prep two times.
"I am super proud of the team this season and am so blessed to be their coach." remarks Jeff Anderson "There have been some amazing low scores this year as a team and individually and I have loved getting to make history with the Girl's Golf Program. Winning six matches in a row is not easy, but these girls have put in the work and I am so excited for them and the program!"
The Tritons will close out their regular season on Thursday in a final league match-up against the Webb Schools at Marshall Canyon Golf Course at 3:15 pm.
