The Girl's Basketball team returns to the court this year and is a very young and talented squad. With only three upperclassmen, the Tritons will be an exciting bunch to watch. Returning for his second year as the Head Girls' Basketball Coach, Pablo Martinez is ready to lead the team through another successful campaign. Coach Pablo is joined by assistant coaches, Jasmine Martinez and Ruben Esquivel. When asked about the upcoming season, Martinez remarked "I am super excited about the upcoming season with this group of girls. They are all committed to the off-season and have made huge strides. I can't wait for this season to begin!"

Players to watch this year include Seniors Lauryn Ham and Alexia Valencia. Lauryn starts her fourth varsity season with tons of experience. She led Orange County in 3-point field goals made, All-League 3 years in a row. Her leadership skills will be much needed as she helps lead a young Triton roster made up of mostly freshmen and sophomores. Alexia Valencia is a transfer guard who also brings experience as co-captain; she will also be asked to help lead this group. She is a two-time All Garden Grove League and part of two Garden Grove League titles.

The Orange and Navy are now in Division 2A in CIF and will still compete in the San Joaquin League against CVCS, Fairmont Prep, and Orangewood Academy. On November 21, the Tritons will host the first-ever Pacifica Christian Girls Basketball Showcase presented by John Markwith, a State Farm Agent. There are two seniors on the team and they will be honored on Friday, January 26th vs CVCS.
