The Pacifica Christian Boy's Cross Country Team has had an impressive season thus far. Led by Head Coach Josh Espinoza who has just entered his fifth season with the program, the squad has competed in three events: The Cool Breeze Invitational, The Woodbridge Invitational, and a League Cluster hosted by Avalon High School. 

In the most recent CIF-SS Polls, the Tritons came out ranked #7 in Division 5 which is the highest ranking the program has ever received in school history! This year's varsity squad includes Seniors Ian Cross and Mitch Bahnsen, Juniors Malachi Maxwell and Peter Cao, and Sophomores, Josiah Cowell and Samuel Collier. Most recently at the Woodbridge Invitational, all six runners ran a sub 18 minute three mile while Seniors Ian Cross and Mitch Bahnsen both had PRs that evening as they ran a 16:30.7 and 17:01.0 respectively. Ian's time that night also set the new 3-mile record for the Boy's Cross Country Program!

"I am grateful for the rankings we received, it adds momentum to an already historic season for us." remarks Head Coach Josh Espinoza "Our team focus is still on League Finals and making another strong showing in the postseason. As usual, we thank God and we keep working hard." 

The team will run at the Central Park Invite on Saturday, October 1 in Huntington Beach.
