The Triton Boys Volleyball team swept the visiting San Gabriel Academy Eagles 3-0 last night in a crucial San Joaquin League matchup. The Tritons won 25-23, 25-14, and 25-19, improving their record to 9-14, 2-4 in league. The Orange and Navy had previously lost to the Eagles back in February in their first league meeting of the season but neither Rigdon nor Reynolds played. 

The Tritons were led on offense by senior Hudson Reynolds who tallied 20 kills, three blocks, and two aces. Sophomore Kallai Kumar had eight kills, four blocks, and three aces and senior opposite Reed Cleary added six kills. Junior setter Joaquin Rigdon had 34 assists and has been a key addition to the squad this year on offense. Defensively Jasper Rogers and Devin Wang were solid on defense for the Orange and Navy. 

The Tritons have two league games remaining. They will host Samueli Academy tomorrow at 5:30 pm in the Triton Event Center. It is also a senior night where all five seniors will be recognized: Hudson Reynolds, Peter Coffin, Reed Cleary, Devin Wang, and Tyler Zafra.  

They will travel to Fairmont Prep on Tuesday, April 15th at 5:30 pm.
