Pacifica Christian Boy's Volleyball headed down to San Juan Capistrano on Thursday evening and took home a 3-2 set win over the Division IV number one ranked CVCS Eagles.

After dropping the first set 25-19, the Tritons rallied in the second to snag a tight 25-23 win and continued their momentum into the third set. The Orange and Navy secured the third set by four points, but the Eagles evened the match score in the fourth set with a 26-24 win. Heading into the fifth set, the Tritons tallied an early lead and won the match with a 15-7 fifth set score.

"CVCS has quickly become one of our favorite opponents," remarks Head Coach Tim Maruyama. "They have two of the best pins in the state and are a pleasure to compete with. Senior Buzz Hodson was our MVP totaling 21 kills and playing a masterful game in both the front and back row. Congrats to a match well played and we look forward to seeing them again in the playoffs".

The Tritons are back in the Triton Event Center for their final league match of the season on Friday evening. Pacifica Christian will play their Senior Day match against St. Margarets at 5pm on April 22nd.
