  • Title:
    JV 2 Assistant Coach

Bio

Curt Stratton is assistant coach of the JV Navy team. He's excited to be a part of the Pacifica family, getting to coach young men to think and live well alongside the head coach, his son Jordan!!

Curt has worked in the computer industry the last 31 years, and for the last 12 has been an executive at Fortinet, a leading cybersecurity company. Outside of work, he's been an avid fan and student of the college and NBA games since the 5th grade, when a certain Laker, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, first graced the hardwood at the Fabulous Forum! He played varsity at El Modena HS in Orange, where he graduated in 1988, and then played very briefly at Santa Ana Junior College (ask him about this when you see him). After transferring to Pepperdine, he stopped playing "officially", but continued to play in the intramural open-division there. After graduating college with a BS in Business Administration, he continued to play in organized men’s leagues until the age of 50. The highlight of his playing days was hitting a buzzer beater to win the game and give his Pepperdine intramural team the open championship his senior year. He also enjoyed several years coaching and then getting to play in men's leagues alongside Jordan.

Curt was born and raised in OC, and he and his beautiful wife Karrie, the Director of Admissions at Huntington Christian School, have been married for 31 years. They have two amazing children, their 27 year old daughter Julia, and their 26 year old son Jordan. Both kids are now married and now that they're empty nesters, Curt and Karrie are really enjoying traveling together. In Curt's free time, he enjoys coaching, leading worship at Rockharbor, playing golf, surfing, and generally doing anything that gets him outdoors.
