Bio

Greg’s journey began at the University of Oregon, where he played basketball for two years, before continuing his education at UCLA. He then went on to have a successful professional basketball career, playing for seven years in Finland and Australia. Greg was not only a player but also heavily involved in youth basketball development programs, even coaching a U18 Australian Boy's Team. After retiring from basketball, Greg took on a new challenge in professional triathlons, competing in over 250 events worldwide, including the prestigious Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii, Japan, and Australia.

Married to his wife Stacey for 41 years, the proud parents of twins, a boy, and a girl. They currently reside in nearby locations of Corona Del Mar and Los Angeles. As he embarks on his eighth year as an assistant coach at Pacifica Christian, Greg remains deeply involved in his community. The Brown family is active members of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach, and Greg also serves as a regional board member for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
