Pacifica Boys Basketball Shines in Seattle

The Pacifica Christian High School boys basketball team took their talents north to Seattle and delivered an impressive three-game sweep, showcasing depth, teamwork, and dominant performances on both ends of the floor. The trip proved to be a memorable one as Pacifica went undefeated, outscoring their opponents and demonstrating the strength of their program.

Game 1: Pacifica vs. The King’s School
Final Score: Pacifica 66, King’s 35

Pacifica set the tone early in Seattle with a commanding win over The King’s School. Strong defense and balanced scoring powered the victory. Donovan Hogan led the way with 15 points, while Durham Pelinka added 13 points. Michael Noel contributed 10 points and 4 assists, orchestrating the offense with poise. Joaquin Rigdon chipped in 8 points, Solomon Huang scored 7, and Ethan Escobar added 6 as Pacifica cruised to a convincing opening win.

Game 2: Pacifica vs. Redmond
Final Score: Pacifica 78, Redmond 52

In their second matchup, Pacifica elevated their play even further. Donovan Hogan delivered a standout performance with 24 points and 13 rebounds, dominating both inside and on the glass. Joaquin Rigdon followed with 18 points and 3 assists, while Michael Noel added 11 points and 3 assists. Solomon Huang filled the stat sheet with 7 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists. Contributions also came from across the roster, including Durham Pelinka (5 points), Austin Brinker (4), Charlie Hall (4), Justin Stone (2), and Rocky Parker (3), highlighting the team’s depth in a decisive win.

Game 3: Pacifica vs. Bear Creek

Pacifica closed out the trip with another strong performance against Bear Creek. Joaquin Rigdon led all scorers with 22 points, continuing his excellent play throughout the trip. Michael Noel recorded 13 points and 7 assists, while Donovan Hogan added 12 points and 7 rebounds. Sammy Gibbs made a big impact with 11 points and 6 rebounds, and Durham Pelinka rounded out the effort with 8 points and 6 boards. The team’s balanced attack and consistent defense sealed the third straight victory.

The Seattle trip was a resounding success for Pacific Christian, as the boys returned home undefeated and full of confidence. With multiple players stepping up each game and a strong emphasis on teamwork, Pacifica showed why they are a force to be reckoned with. This road trip not only produced wins, but also valuable experience and momentum as the season continues.
