Boy's Basketball Beats Tartans to Improve to 3-0
The Pacifica Christian Boys Basketball team picked up their third win of the season Tuesday night as they beat the visiting St. Margaret's Tartans 64-48. At halftime, the Tritons only led by three points but they came out and dominated the second half of the game, outscoring the Tartans 30-17 in the second half to pull away with the victory.
The squad was led by Senior Salim Semaan who was on fire last night as he knocked down 21 points. Senior Parker Strauss added ten points to the scoreboard and led the team with 10 assists as well as 10 rebounds. Junior Alex Stewart was solid in the paint as he notched ten points and eight rebounds, as well as sophomore EJ Spillman, who had eight points and six assists.
"The guys played hard and played together and it showed." remarked Head Coach Jeff Berokoff "We had 17 assists tonight and passed the ball extremely well. St. Margaret's was well-coached and showed a ton of fight. I'm proud of our guy's performance"
The Tritons will play against Lakewood High School at 4:30 pm, Saturday, November 26 at Marina High School in a non-league match.
