Senior Boys Basketball player Parker Strauss is now the third Triton in school history to be nominated for the McDonalds All American Games. Strauss a Northwestern commit, is just one of two players to be nominated from Orange County alongside Mater Dei's Zack Davidson.

In just seven years of Varsity Basketball, Pacifica Christian has had three nominations: Judah Brown, class of 2020, Houston Mallette, class of 2021, and now Parker Strauss class of 2023. Head Boy's Basketball Coach Jeff Berokoff stated; "Parker is a heck of a basketball player, but most importantly he treats people incredibly  well. His attitude and service to others are what I am most impressed with. I will always root for Parker Strauss!"

In his senior season, Parker is averaging 12.3 points, 4.7 assists, and 7.1 rebounds per game. "I am so blessed to receive this nomination," remarks Strauss, "I want to thank my coaches, family, and teammates for all the things that they do for me every day to help me become not only a better basketball player but a better person!"
