Pacifica Christian Boys' Basketball defeated Portola High School tonight, 75-36, in the CDM Beach Bash to improve to 5-1 on the year. With the win, the Tritons advance to the Quarterfinals where they will face JSerra High School tomorrow night. 

The Tritons, currently ranked #2 in the latest CIF-SS Division 2A polls, were led by Sophomore EJ Spillman and Senior Tanner Deal on offense. EJ, who currently holds offers from Pepperdine University, University of Portland, and South Alabama to name a few, led the Tritons with 14 points, while Tanner Deal closely followed him with 13. Northwestern University commit Parker Strauss had a double-double tonight, recording 11 points and 11 rebounds. 

"It was a team win tonight", stated head coach Jeff Berokoff  "The boys played great, and I am looking forward to what we can do this season." 

The Orange and Navy are back in action tomorrow night against JSerra at CDM High School, tip off is 8:20 pm. JSerra defeated Newport Harbor, 57-47, in the first round of the CDM Bash to remain undefeated on the season.
