Girl's Beach Volleyball hit the sand Monday afternoon and they beat the Vaquero's of Irvine High School 3-1. The Tritons are now 2-0 and are looking to keep their momentum throughout the rest of the season. 

Leading the Tritons was the freshman duo Chara Wondercheck and Charlotte Carlson. Wondercheck and Carlson won their first set 21-17 and battled in the second losing by two. The two freshmen bounced back as they won their final set of the afternoon 18-16. Sophomore Colleen O'Callaghan and Junior Danisha Salinas had a clean sweep on the day, winning both of their sets and earning another point for the Tritons. Junior Ava Loritz and sophomore Savannah Parker finished things out for the Tritons as they won their sets 21-10 and 21-11. 

"It was another windy day down at the beach, however my coaching staff and I were happy with the way our pairs were able to keep the ball low and score consistently. We served tough and kept the pressure on our opponent" remarks Head Coach Ally Garrett.
