Pacifica Christian is pleased to announce the hiring of Timothy Lee Shenkin as the new Boys & Girls Beach Head Coach for the upcoming 2017-2018 seasons. Coach Shenkin comes to Pacifica Christian with years of coaching and playing experience at the Club, High School, and College Level. Originally from Chicago Illinois, Tim attended Glenbard East High School where he was a multiple 1st Team All-Conference Winner, 1st Team All-Area Winner, and a 1st Team All-State Selection. Tim currently holds the record for Hitting Percentage and 4th overall in blocks at Glenbard East High School. Tim went on to play at the collegiate level at Hope International University in Fullerton, CA. While at Hope, Tim was the "Newcomer of the Year" winner (2013), a First Team All-Conference selection (2016) and a Scholar-Athlete of the year winner his Senior Year.

"Tim has a great knowledge and understanding of the game of Volleyball, both at the beach and Indoor level, and knows the impact Christian based Athletics can have on a young person life"

Tim is currently coaching at Sandsould Volleyball Club in Huntington Beach and spent the last few years coaching at Mariners ChristianSchool, San Diego Jewish Academy, and St. Augustine High School.
