NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Pacifica Christian High School is proud to announce the hiring of Reid Priddy, a four-time Olympian and one of the most accomplished volleyball players in United States history, as the school's new Director of Boys Volleyball. In this role, Priddy will oversee both the Tritons' indoor and beach volleyball programs, bringing world-class experience and leadership to Pacifica Christian athletics.

Priddy joins Pacifica Christian after an illustrious playing career that established him as one of the premier volleyball athletes of his generation. A four-time member of the United States Men's National Team, he represented Team USA at the 2000, 2004, 2008, and 2012 Olympic Games. His international career was highlighted by a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where he played a key role in leading the United States to its first Olympic gold medal in men's volleyball in 20 years.

In addition to his Olympic success, Priddy competed professionally for more than a decade in some of the world's most competitive volleyball leagues and helped Team USA earn numerous international medals and championships. His experience at the highest levels of the sport provides Pacifica Christian student-athletes with a unique opportunity to learn from one of volleyball's most respected figures.

"We are excited to welcome Reid Priddy to Pacifica Christian," said Athletic Director Brandon Gonzalez. "Reid's accomplishments on the international stage speak for themselves, but what impressed us most is his passion for mentoring young athletes and developing leaders of character. His vision for both our indoor and beach volleyball programs aligns with our mission, and we are confident he will make a lasting impact on our student-athletes and the broader Pacifica community."

As Director of Boys Volleyball, Priddy will provide leadership and oversight for both the indoor and beach volleyball programs, focusing on player development, program growth, and cultivating a culture of excellence that reflects Pacifica Christian's commitment to developing students.

Priddy's hiring marks an exciting new chapter for Tritons volleyball as Pacifica Christian continues to strengthen its athletic programs and provide transformational opportunities for student-athletes. His combination of Olympic experience, professional success, and commitment to mentorship positions the program for continued growth and success in the years ahead.
