Post Season Play Update!

As Spring Sports have wrapped up the regular season, the Tritons still have four programs competing in playoffs!

In just the first year as a varsity program, Pacifica Christian Boy's Tennis qualified for CIF-SS Division 5 Playoffs. The Tritons finished the year 3-5 and 3rd place in the San Joaquin League. The Orange and Navy are on the road for the first round as they travel to Summit High School on Wednesday, May 1. The Summit Skyhawks finished ranked #7 in Division 5 with a record of 13-5. The Triton Baseball team finished the regular season with a record of 18-6 and 13-1 in the league. Entering as the number one seed and finishing the year holding the number one spot in the Division 8 polls the Tritons will host the winner of Wildcard A between Crossroads Christian (Corona) and Academy Academic Excellence. Those two teams play on Tuesday, April 30th. The Orange and Navy will host the first round on Thursday, May 2nd at 4:00 pm at OCC. The full brackets can be found here

Boy's Golf is sending five golfers to compete in the League Individual Prelims on Wednesday, May 1 at Rancho San Joquin Golf Course. Out of a field of 24, 12 golfers will move on to League Individual Finals on Thursday and eight will advance to the CIF-SS Individual Prelims. Matthew Hull who is currently ranked #26 out of 1500 golfers in the Southern Section will be someone to watch for the Tritons as he is anticipated to make a deep run in the postseason. Along with him Eston Kallins, Asher Alexander, Ethan Shumlas, and Will Watson will represent the Tritons in League Individual Prelims. As a team, the Orange and Navy will find out on Saturday, May 4th if they receive an at-large bid for Division 3 and if so, they will play on May 13th at Los Serranos. 

Track and Field is sending eight athletes to compete at the CIF-SS Individual Prelims on Saturday, May 4th at Carpinteria High School. Aiden Hart will run the 110M and 300M hurdles. Peter Cao will race the 1600 and 800M. Ella Murray and Ashley Gundlach will both compete in the 1600M and the 3200M. Akyli Maze will compete in the 800M. Lila Glidewell, Taylor Gundlach, Avery Burke, and Akyli Maze will all race in the 4x400M relay. Any athletes who qualify for the CIF-SS Finals will race on May 11th at Moorpark High School.
