Pacifica Christian Hires Johnny Marmelstein as Boy's Soccer Coach

Pacifica Christian is pleased to announce the hiring of Johnny Marmelstein as the new Head Boys Soccer Coach at Pacifica Christian High School. Johnny comes to Pacifica as one of Southern California's most decorated High School Soccer coaches. Johnny started his high school career at the Chadwick school in Palos Verdes, spending 11 years as their Physical Education teacher and Boys Varsity Head Soccer Coach. He helped lead the Varsity program to three consecutive CIF finals, winning the title in 1996 and 1997, ending his time at Chadwick with a 154-90-26 overall record. From there, Johnny relocated to south Orange County and worked at St. Margaret's High School as their Dean of Students and Girls Varsity Head Soccer Coach. While at St. Margarets, he amassed a 342-100-41 overall record and won CIF Championships in '06, '11, '12, and '14 and a State Championship in 2019.

On top of his duties as Head Boys Varsity Soccer Coach, Johnny will be Pacifica Christians' new Dean of Students. Caring for their well-being and overall success as student-athletes at Pacifica Christian High School. 
 
More information regarding the upcoming season will be out in the coming months as we get close to the boy's soccer season this coming winter.
